Naomi Hirabayashi was born in Tokyo. After graduation from Musashino Art University, She started working as an art director/graphic designer for Shiseido Co., Ltd. In 2002, she was granted an opportunity to go to England to temporarily work for MadeThought, a design studio in London. After returning to Japan, she engaged herself in designing many ads for different products and creating a number of package and bookbinding designs as a freelancer. Her works have acquired Tokyo ADC prize, New York ADC GOLD, British D&AD, as well as many other awards.
Her major works/projects include art direction for GINZA, ARTS&SCIENCE, journal standard luxe, United Arrows, YAECA and packaging design for NTT DOCOMO.
