Daniel Ayuso studied graphic design at EINA, University School of Design and Art of Barcelona. He began his career in communication companies such as Taula de Disseny and Summa Comunicació. In 1992 he founded his own studio Sexto, and in 2001 he joined Clase bcn (founded by Claret Serrahima) as the Creative Director. He also teaches corporate identity at the ELISAVA School of Design and Engineering and the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona. He has given conferences, seminars and workshops, and in the last years he participated as a member of jury board in several international design awards.
Clase bcn is a graphic design and visual communication studio from Barcelona, formed by a team of 10 international and multidisciplinary professionals, working all areas of design with a particular defense of typography and the element of surprise. Their work has been awarded and published nationally and internationally for many times.
Their projects include public institutions and private companies such as El Bulli, Musée d'art moderne de Céret, Futbol Club Barcelona, Barcelona City Hall, October (Center of Contemporary Culture of Valencia), Arts Santa Monica (Cultural Center in Barcelona), Teixidors, Kettal, and more recently, CatalunyaCaixa, Palau de la Música Catalana, Pompeu Fabra University, EINA, University School of Design and Art of Barcelona and the Catalan Pavilion at the 2012 Venice Architecture Biennale among others.
